of course hak says hello back, smiling softly as he steps closer. this is probably the happiest soo-won has ever seen him in purgatory....or even in the last [redacted] months since he left. ]

[ actually it's probably only been like a month but whatever ]

[ gulfan is.... perfect. happy and pleased to see them both, hopping on his lil predator claws on soo-won's arm to get closer to hak so that he can chirp more quietly now and butt his head against hak's...

soo-won falls quiet, watching the interaction. it's... an almost painful sort of fondness, watching gulfan and hak be so happy together. it tore him up before. it tears him up again now, but he doesn't dare intrude. but the expression on his face really is so quietly awed and adoring. ]

[ that gets a laugh out of him, small but real, along with a returning bump of his head. (no feather pets though; he's not willing to risk his fingers just yet.) ]

You should have showed up sooner. Hope you weren't in the box too long.

[ well. maybe he would have been eaten by some creepy monster if he showed up sooner but hak's not going to think about that. though now that gulfan IS here, the logistics of the situation are starting to rear their little heads. ]

We don't have a place to keep him though.

He's rather self-sufficient. We should perhaps see if we can prepare a perch for him to rest in one of the rooms in the manor, and then a roost?

I'll look around for supplies. [ anything for their best boy. ] At least there should be plenty for him to eat.
